Oceum

Brand Guidelines

Governed agent infrastructure for enterprise operations.

Protection Zone

The exclusion zone around the Oceum mark uses the terminal node diameter as its unit of measure (1x). Maintain a minimum of 2x clear space on all sides. Never crowd the mark.

2x 2x 2x 2x
16px — Favicon
24px — Minimum Digital
40px — Standard
64px — Preferred

Incorrect Usage

The Oceum mark must always be reproduced from approved artwork. These examples demonstrate unacceptable modifications that compromise the mark's integrity.

Do not rotate the mark
Do not distort proportions
Do not use unapproved colors
Do not add effects or shadows
Do not place on busy backgrounds
Do not rearrange elements

Three typefaces, precisely deployed. Cormorant Garamond brings editorial authority. Instrument Sans provides functional clarity. JetBrains Mono speaks the language of code. Together they create a hierarchy that commands attention without raising its voice.

How We Speak

Oceum's voice is the voice of an operator who has built the thing they needed. It is commanding without being loud. Precise without being cold. Confident because the work speaks for itself.

We Say

  • Governed agent infrastructure
  • Legacy bridge
  • Protocol adapters
  • Zero-knowledge credential injection
  • Graduated autonomy
  • Enterprise memory
  • Act on legacy systems, safely
  • Built because it was needed

We Never Say

  • AI chatbot
  • AI gateway
  • No-code / Low-code
  • Magic / Automagically
  • Disrupt / Game-changing
  • Simply / Just / Easy
  • Next-generation / Cutting-edge
  • Unlock / Supercharge

Tone Principles

  • Commanding — Direct statements, not suggestions
  • Precise — Specific claims with evidence
  • Understated — Let the product demonstrate
  • Technical — Respect the audience's intelligence

Writing Rules

  • Lead with what it does, not what it is
  • Numbers over adjectives (9 agents, not "many")
  • Short sentences. Short paragraphs.
  • First person from the founder. Third person for product.
Messaging Hierarchy
Primary Tagline
Trusted Autonomy™ for Enterprise Operations
Supporting Tagline
Enterprise agents that act on legacy systems. Safely.
Descriptor
Governed agent infrastructure for enterprise operations.
Positioning
Oceum connects AI agents to the systems your operations already run on — executing governed actions against SAP, Oracle, SFTP, and legacy databases through protocol adapters with zero-knowledge credential injection. Not another agent builder. The infrastructure that makes agents usable in real enterprise environments.
Proof Points
9 agents running our production. 48 phases shipped. Zero outside funding. 6 protocol adapters (REST, SOAP, SFTP, JDBC, Webhook, Database). Enterprise memory with Recall compression. Governed execution with full audit trails.

Visual Direction

Imagery should evoke precision, control, and quiet power. Think command centers at dawn. Architectural geometry in low light. The beauty of systems working silently. Never performative — always purposeful.

Dark Interfaces

Dashboard screenshots, terminal windows, dark mode environments. The product is the imagery.

Architectural

Geometric structures, clean lines, symmetry and repetition. Concrete, glass, steel in low ambient light.

Precision Machinery

Close-ups of engineered components, watch mechanisms, aerospace details. Craft at scale.

Never Use

In Practice

The brand system applied across touchpoints. Every application maintains the restrained confidence of the Obsidian Command language — from a 16px favicon to a keynote stage.

App Store Frame

Screenshots should use the obsidian background with champagne accent elements. Device frames in slate gray. Content should show the actual product interface — never marketing mockups.

Outbound Voice

Every email, caption, DM, and notification is brand. These standards ensure Oceum speaks with one voice — commanding, precise, understated — across every channel.

Email

Format
  • Subject lines: concise, no clickbait, no emoji
  • Opening: direct statement, never "Hope this finds you well"
  • Body: short paragraphs, 2-3 sentences max each
  • Signature: name, role, champagne divider, oceum.ai
  • Sign-off: "Best," or just the name — never "Cheers!" or "Warmly,"
Tone Examples
Good

"Your agent fleet is live. Three workflows deployed to production — monitoring is active across all endpoints."

Avoid

"Hey! Just wanted to reach out and let you know that your awesome agents are up and running! 🚀🎉"

Social Media

  • Captions: Lead with the insight, not the product
  • Hashtags: Max 3, lowercase, no #AI or #startup
  • Imagery: Product screenshots on dark backgrounds only
  • Emoji: Never. Not even one. The copy does the work.
  • Links: oceum.ai — never shortened URLs
  • Threads: Number each post. Period at the end of every sentence.
Example Caption

"9 agents. Zero downtime. Oceum now supports graduated autonomy — from visual workflows to fully autonomous operation. The operator decides how much control to keep."

Messaging & Notifications

  • Telegram/Slack: Functional, no small talk
  • Alerts: State what happened, then what to do
  • Status updates: Numbers first, context second
  • Error messages: Honest, specific, actionable
  • Onboarding: Guide, don't celebrate
  • Never: "Oops!", "Uh oh!", "Something went wrong"
Example Alert

[Security] Agent paused — memory threshold exceeded (92%). Reduce active workflows or increase allocation.

Content Principles

  • Show the product, don't describe it
  • Founder perspective for thought leadership
  • Third person for product announcements
  • Technical depth earns trust — don't dumb it down
  • Every post should teach something or prove something
  • Silence is better than noise — post with intent

Formatting Rules

  • Numbers: Always digits (8, not "eight")
  • Product name: "Oceum" — never "OCEUM" in running text
  • Em dashes: Use freely — they convey precision
  • Oxford comma: Always
  • Periods: Every sentence ends with one. Even in lists.
  • Capitalization: Sentence case for headlines. Never Title Case.
